Secondary Containment
Secondary containment areas provide safe storage for hazardous materials. We go above and beyond by surpassing industry requirements to ensure every containment area is built with the highest concern for environmental stewardship.
Our skilled team has managed, installed and provided Geosynthetic containment areas at numerous locations at mine sites across Canada. Showcased here are two samples of secondary containment systems we have completed, one during the winter months proving our methods allow for geosynthetic projects to be complete in all weather conditions.
These basins were constructed using various geosynthetics. Our team deployed, welded and filled the areas using telehandlers, excavators, loaders and skid-steers. All welding completed by our installation team had overview from our CQA inspectors and quality control team. As with all our geosynthetic projects, the team was able to minimize delays and maximize production by working in unison while ensuring the projects were completed safely.
Our scope of work for the containment areas encompasses procurement, construction and management. Including sub-grade earthworks, liner and sump installation, quality control, and final backfill.
