Arctic Concrete
In the Canadian Arctic, facing adverse and severe weather conditions, we successfully meet the concrete demands for a growing resource company that continues to expand its operations and infrastructure in the Kitikmeot region of Nunavut. The first major project we completed at the current site was an 8,000 square-meter processing mill, which was built on time and on budget. The completion of this project serves as a benchmark for the quality of our workmanship and we hold this accomplishment in high regard.
Our Processes
We begin our concrete process from square one, batching concrete, all our concrete is produced with strict controls we follow both CSA and ASTM standards throughout the production and placement phases. Our dedicated staff take pride on producing concrete that stands the test of time in industrial environments.
Offering all-inclusive services
From the production phase, our skilled placers and finishers use several methods to ensure a high-quality product. Our placement methods, by crane, pump, bucket and chute allow our placers to manipulate the toughest pours. Blomberg Industries’ talented finishing team give the final touch and produce flawless grades and perfect finishes. The result is strong concrete that looks great and can handle the abuse of any industrial operation.
